I love statues that offer something beautiful to look at and Washington DC 's great museums always does.
The last few paintings I love as they feel like me. She is am English painter who worked in 1920.

Lincoln Center, Avery Fisher Hall, Holst's the Planets

I have been waiting to see this particular Conductor do Holst's the Planets. Bramwell Tovey did an amazing job . NASA provided film of the planets which made the experience of sound and site tie in so effortlessly i found my mind painting .    I walked to the train thinking what a wonderful mystery we are. In this huge universe here we are, a lone planet teeming with life, water , love hate, what a wonderful miracle we are. The abstract thought of how this rock we call home provides everything we can need while other planets out there are just that, rocks that are either too hot, too cold , too toxic. I find myself thinking How extraordinary it all is.
